Metallica postpones their Glendale, Arizona concert until this coming weekend after lead singer...
Legendary heavy metal group Metallica hit a snag on their M72 World Tour, with the group forced to postpone their second show in Glendale, Arizona.
The group embarked on their M72 world tour in late April, with each city getting two shows on Fridays and Sundays and the band promising a 'no repeat weekend,' meaning no song will be repeated in both shows.
The group's latest stop was in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium, home of the NHL's Arizona Cardinals, with the first show on Friday, September 1.
However, the group - which made headlines for saying they don't indulge in drugs and alcohol anymore - announced on Instagram this past Saturday that night two would be moved from September 3 to September 9, because lead singer James Hetfield tested positive for COVID-19.
Arizona was the last stop on their tour for two months, before returning for shows in St. Louis and Detroit before an extended hiatus until May 2024.
