Young Matildas star Alana Murphy scores a stunning goal from outside the box against Vietnam
Braces don't come much better than the ones showcased by rising star Alana Murphy, with the talented Melbourne Victory teenager hammering home two rockets for the Young Matildas from outside the box.
The 18-year-old's remarkable long-range strikes propelled Australia to a dominant 2-0 triumph over Vietnam, solidifying their qualification campaign for the Under-20 Women's Asian Cup.
In the early stages of the second half, Australia seized control when Murphy unleashed a daring shot from 40 yards out, finding the top corner with precision.
It took her only a short while to increase her goal tally for the night, as she struck again from long distance, leaving the goalkeeper helpless and securing a comfortable 2-0 lead for Australia.
