Wout Weghorst does what Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't on first Man Utd EFL Cup appearance

Wout Weghorst has already accomplished a feat at Manchester United that Cristiano Ronaldo failed to do - netting on his Carabao Cup debut.

The big Dutchman was again given the nod from Erik ten Hag as United looked to reach Wembley. Standing in the way of the Red Devils was a resolute Nottingham Forest, but an early goal from Marcus Rashford quickly took the sting out of the tie.

Weghorst doubled United's lead when he was quickest to respond after a ball fell loose in the area. It was Weghorst's first goal for the Red Devils after joining them on loan earlier this month.
