Ex-Valencia coach Marcelino eager for management return

Former Valencia coach Marcelino admits he wants to return to management.

However, he doesn't expect to ever be offered the jobs at Real Madrid or Barcelona.

He said, "I am convinced that they are not going to call me. We are a coaching staff that does not meet the conditions. The coaches they choose are usually either very successful or former players. They look more for this second profile.

"We've had some offers. When you don't start a project at the beginning of the season, it's usually more complicated. When you have to decide to go to a team in the middle of the season, you have more options to make a mistake.
