Tottenham interim boss Mason explains Craig, Abbott debuts
Tottenham interim boss Ryan Mason heaped praise on young talents Matthew Craig and George Abbott.
The duo came on to make their Spurs debuts during a thumping win over Leeds United on the final day of the season.
With Spurs winning 4-1, Mason gave Craig and Abbott their first team bows.
Post-game, he told reporters: I think obviously that period we were quite fortunate because we had some outstanding young players. I'm taking myself out of that as I don't want to blow my own trumpet. We had Harry Kane, Andros Townsend, Alex Pritchard, Adam Smith, I could name so many players that went on to play in the Premier League and have incredible careers.
