Sheikh Jassim makes late decision on final Man Utd bid hours before Glazers' deadline

Sheikh Jassims latest bid to buy Manchester United will reportedly remain on the table - even if a deadline to take or leave the offer is missed.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim remain in the running to take control at Old Trafford, although a preferred bidder is still to be named. Frustration is growing among United fans over the current owners handling of the process, with the Glazers wanting 6billion for the club.

It was widely reported that Sheikh Jassims fifth bid, submitted earlier this week, came with a demand that he wanted an answer by Friday. If one wasnt forthcoming, he would walk away from the process.
