Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney reveal new Wrexham sponsor after hilarious 'gaffe'
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have revealed Wrexhams new sponsors after a hilarious blunder.
The newly-promoted League Two clubs co-owner Reynolds initially tweeted a cryptic message on Thursday, which read: Wrexham United, alongside the caption: Yes. This. Is. Happening.
Fans began to speculate that the Hollywood actors , who gained ownership of the Welsh side in 2021, were planning to change the clubs name to Wrexham United.
But the duo put the rumours to bed shortly after in a skit where they jokingly claimed it had all been a mistake, having actually signed a new sponsorship deal with United AIrlines ahead of the 2023/24 season.
