Ruben Dias discloses secret to Man City's success as Pep Guardiola eyes historic treble
The Mirror Ruben Dias believes the key to Manchester Citys success is that Pep Guardiola and the Etihad hierarchy have assembled an unrivalled team of leaders.
The Portuguese defender is part of a five-man captaincy group at the club and was seen giving his team-mates a rousing talk at Wembley ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester United.
And the 26-year-old centre-half says the number of leaders in their ranks is what helps make City special. Dias explained: Its an important part of my role as it is everyone elses in my team.
"Weve got five captains but all of us are kind of captains on our own and we can step up when the time is right. Its a special characteristic our team has.
"The main word goes out to the club because they were able to get together a group of players who were all leaders in the past, weve brought all those leaders together.
