Rio Ferdinand issues damning verdict on Jadon Sancho's future after Erik ten Hag row
The Mirror Rio Ferdinand believes that Jadon Sancho may have to consider a transfer to the Saudi Pro League after digging out Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag online.
Sancho, 23, did not travel down to the capital for the 3-1 loss at Arsenal, with Ten Hag claiming that the England star failed to make the squad for Sunday's match due to poor performances in training.
The 73million signing from Borussia Dortmund swiftly snapped back on social media, where he made it clear that he felt the Dutchman's comments were unwarranted. He said in a statement: "Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue.
"I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
