Real Madrid to launch bid for Spurs striker Kane

Real Madrid want to do a deal to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer.

Los Blancos have lost their most reliable and prolific attacker in Frenchman Karim Benzema.

With the latter leaving for the Saudi Pro League, Real want to sign Kane as his replacement.

Per Marca, the La Liga club are hoping to convince Kane to make the move, even though he prefers a Premier League stay.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would want to sell to Real, rather than to another Premier League side.

However, Kane wants to beat the league's all time scoring record, which may convince him to hold out for an English club.
