Real Madrid hatch ‘two-stage plan’ to steal Liverpool target Bellingham with ‘mega’ 100m swap deal
Real Madrid have reportedly hatched a ‘two-stage plan’ that would see them sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham ahead of Liverpool.
The 19-year-old is looking likely to leave Dortmund in the summer. He is under contract until 2025 but recent reports have suggested that is not willing to sign an extension.
Dortmund are often fair with their players and let them leave when major clubs come calling for their services.
Given his contract situation, Dortmund are at least in a strong position and cam demand a huge fee for their prized asset. It has been suggested that he could cost as much as 130m.
Bellingham is one of the best young players in the world and Liverpool are desperate to sign him in the coming months.
It will not be easy for the Reds though as they face competition from the likes of Real Madrid, Man Utd and Man City.
