NCAA basketball: Multiple UConn students are expelled over wild March Madness celebrations
Several students attending the University of Connecticut have been expelled over the school's wild national title celebrations, following the Huskies' March Madness championship win.
UConn spokesperson Stephanie Reitz has revealed that some investigations into the postgame incidents in Storrs, Connecticut have already been resolved, resulting in the dismissal of a small percentage in the school's student body.
Others await their fate as UConn officials still need to further examine and conclude several different cases.
'We'll likely have a better picture later in the summer of the totality of the outcomes,' Reiz told TMZ Sports. 'Since students have the opportunity for an appeals process if they disagree with the proposed outcomes, and in those circumstances, the case remains open until that takes place and a final decision is made.'
