When Lionel Messi takes the pitch for Inter Miami and faces Houston Dynamo, he will encounter a surprise, as his compatriot Franco Escobar has tattooed the image of the 2022 World Cup champion all over his thigh.

Upon the announcement of Messi joining Inter Miami, various reactions emerged instantly. One particular attention-grabbing response was the profound love Messi evokes, leading even his fellow professionals to permanently ink the image of the former Barcelona captain on their skin.

Messi has yet to set foot in Miami as a player for his new club, but already all the franchises residing in Florida have decided to make him feel at home. NFL side Miami Dolphins dedicated a heartfelt video to him, filled with affectionate messages.
