The father of Max Verstappen, Jos, has said his son is 'a bit done with everything' after his record-breaking season as F1 Champion.
After the longest-ever F1 campaign, Jos Verstappen believes the Red Bull star is in need of a break from the sport, after the most successful season of his career.
In a year that saw a record 22 Grand Prix events between March and November, Verstappen won 15 races to dominate a championship where he had very little competition.
Unlike 2021, where Lewis Hamilton went toe-to-toe with the 25-year-old, the Brit driver failed to rival Verstappen this season, while Ferrari's challenge also faltered to leave the Red Bull drive to retain his F1 crown in style.
