Marcus Thuram dream club admission made amid Man Utd transfer links
Lilian Thuram has claimed "every player has the dream of playing for Barcelona" when asked about the future of his son Marcus Thuram.
Marcus is out of contract at Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the season and a contract renewal at the German club does not appear likely. The remaining week of the January transfer window is the final opportunity for the Bundesliga outfit to cash in on the France international.
The 25-year-old, who was part of the France World Cup squad and featured heavily in the final, is set to be in high demand this year. The wide forward has been linked with a move to Manchester United on multiple occasions this month.
Italian outlet La Republicca claimed that Erik ten Hag was keen to add the Frenchman to his attacking ranks and that, coupled with Thuram's desire to play in the Premier League, could be enough to seal a deal either in January or as a free agent this summer.
