Man Utd owners met with PSG president about Sheikh Jassim offer
Manchester United's owners have met with PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi about Sheikh Jassim's attempts to buy the club.
BBC Sport says the Glazers, who have known Al-Khelaifi for years, met with him a month ago to encourage fellow Sheikh Jassim to increase his bid for the club.
The Qatari banker made a fifth offer this week with a warning he would not engage with the process beyond Friday.
It's suggested the new bid was not an increase on the previous offer.
Sources insist Al-Khelaifi has no role in the bid process amid Sheikh Jassim's insistence his offer is being done privately and doesn't involve the Royal family.
