Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag blocked Victor Lindelof from leaving in January.

BILD says Lindelf was close to leaving United for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan towards the end of the January window.

But a Ten Hag chose to put an end to the transfer, using his personal veto.

Lindelf ended up playing 35 competitive matches this season, 20 of which were in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old's contract with United runs until 2024 with an option for another year.
