Liverpool fans fear huge Caoimhin Kelleher blunder could cost Reds in transfer market
Caoimhin Kelleher failed to make the most of a rare Premier League start when Liverpool closed their campaign at Southampton on Sunday.
The Republic of Ireland was promoted to No. 1 for the final game of the campaign in a much-changed Reds XI. Jurgen Klopp handed starts to Kelleher, Curtis Jones, Joe Gomez and Kostas Tsimikas, as well as the departing duo of James Milner and Roberto Firmino.
But any hopes of seeing Kelleher join those exiting the club may have been damaged by a first-half performance that saw Liverpool leak two goals. The two teams went in drawing 2-2 at the break, with James Ward-Prowse and Kamaldeen Sulemana converting for the Saints.

And it was Sulemana's first-half strike in particular that had supporters wondering whether Kelleher would nab them quite the kitty they'd been hoping for. The Cork man joined the Reds' academy in 2015 and has been touted as a future star despite struggling for game time given Alisson Becker's reign as No. 1.
