Lando Norris admits McLaren are 'NOWHERE NEAR as quick' as the top five teams

Lando Norris believes McLaren are way off the pace after his bright weekend ended when he drove into the back of Lewis Hamilton.

The McLaren driver started the Spanish Grand Prix in third place after an impressive qualifying performance, but his race was destroyed by the second-corner incident.

He damaged his front wing, fell to the back of the pack, and finally ended up in a dismal 17th place.

Asked what went through his mind on the point of impact with Hamilton, the 23-year-old revealed: F***.
