The Los Angeles Angels stole a move that is all too familiar to the Hollywood studios nearby after the team used a body double for two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani on Tuesday.
Ohtani was unable to attend the team photograph while he was being examined for oblique soreness that popped up on Monday.
Rather than omit the team's star player the Angels put a body double in a No. 17 jersey and lined him up in the outfield with the rest of the players.
After the photo was completed, the Ohtani imposter was ushered out through the bullpen tunnel beyond the left field wall by PR officials - and it is understood the real Ohtani will be photoshopped in.
