Kevin De Bruyne's son has succumbed to Erling Haaland-mania, sporting the Norwegian's famous haircut

Kevin De Bruyne admitted that he now longer owns idol status in his house after Erling Haalands arrival at Manchester City.

Haaland, who has 52 goals in all competitions this season, has captured the imagination since a 51million move from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

And De Bruyne revealed that his children have taken more of an interest in the sport over the past year. The eldest, seven-year-old Mason, sports a Haaland haircut.

It is not a problem! De Bruyne said. Erling is a superstar. All three children have long hair. I see that with the kids at [my son's] school too. They all have hair like that. It's funny.
