Jadon Sancho told how Sir Alex Ferguson would have reacted to 'petulant' Man Utd outburst
Jadon Sancho has been warned he "wouldn't see the light of day" if he had responded to Sir Alex Ferguson in the same manner he did with Erik ten Hag on Sunday.
Having started United's first three Premier League games, the 23-year-old was axed completely from Man United's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday. And in his post-match press conference, Ten Hag was blunt when asked why the forward has been omitted.
"On his performance on training we didn't select him," he said. "You have to reach the level every day at Manchester United. You can make choices in the front line, so in this game he wasn't selected."
Seemingly angered by the situation, Sancho duly released a statement social media, writing: "I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue, I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I've been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!"
