Inter Miami fans party on the streets to celebrate Lionel Messi's arrival in MLS

Lionel Messi is sure to receive a warm welcome in Florida after Inter Miami fans wildly celebrated his signing following his confirmation he was heading to the MLS team.

Much speculation has surrounded the 35-year-old's next move over the past few weeks, with Messi being heavily linked withmoves to both Saudi Arabia and Barcelona.

But he has finally settled on his decision, turning down a fairytale return to his boyhood club Barcelona and a huge $2.5billion deal from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, to make the move to Miami.

And his decision has been enthusiastically welcomed by the fans down in South Beach.

After Messi himself confirmed his choice, Inter Miami supporters flooded the streets of the Florida city to celebrate their new signing.
