Ian Wright urges Man Utd to offer Tottenham Harry Kane swap transfer - It's a no-brainer
Ian Wright claims a player-plus-cash offer is the best way for Manchester United to prise Harry Kane from boyhood club Tottenham.
The Red Devils recently stepped up their long-standing interest in the England captain after making a centre-forward their summer transfer priority. Kane, 29, has entered the final 18 months of his Spurs contract and is open to signing another deal, but speculation over his future will continue to rage until he puts pen to paper.
United know it will take a huge offer to convince Daniel Levy to sell the Tottenham talisman, so Wright suspects a swap deal may be the way to make headway. The pundit believes as a package of 60million plus Anthony Martial - who has struggled for form and fitness at Old Trafford this season - would be a "great deal" for all involved.
