HBCU Albany State makes surprising scholarship offer to white quarterback

Albany State - a Division II HBCU - has made a scholarship offer to Marcus Stokes, the four-star quarterback recruit that lost his offer from University of Florida in November due to a video of him rapping the n-word on Twitter.

Stokes, who is white, saw his offer to be part of the Gators' 2023 recruiting class rescinded after the controversial Twitterpost. The two-second clip showed Stokes singing: 'Welcome back n*****.'

He later apologized and has now revealed he has been 'blessed' with an offer from Albany State,which competes in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
