Harry Kane mocked by Chelsea 'leader, legend'; told to join 'bigger and better club' than Tottenham
Chelsea legend John Terry has told Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane that it’s time to join a ‘bigger and better club’.
The Three Lions skipper has spent hisentire professional career in north London, becoming one of the most prolific goalscorers in Premier League history in the process with 261 goals in 408 appearances.
Despite that incredible stat line, the29-year-old is still to win a trophy with Spurs.
Kane has lost two League Cup finals in 2015 and 2021, while he also returned from injury to lose to Liverpool in the 2019 Champions League final under Mauricio Pochettino.
Terry, meanwhile, won 15 major trophies at Stamford Bridge. And he has urged Kane to leave if he genuinely wants to end his trophy drought.
