Southgate delivered the rabble-rousing speech after the squad got together this week ahead of their qualifier with Ukraine in Poland on Saturday.
Three Lions boss Southgate is determined to instill a winning mentality in his players ahead of the tournament after recent near misses.
England reached the semi finals in the 2018 World Cup, the final of the last Euros and crashed out to France in last years World Cup in Qatar. Southgates contract expires after the Euros next year and this is likely to be his last crack at winning a major tournament.
Brighton captain Lewis Dunk revealed the change in mindset in the England set-up since he was last in the squad in 2018 and also the powerful message which Southgate delivered to his players at St Georges Park.
