Fan accused of headbutting Roy Keane was Arsenal supporter who 'broke own nose'
A man accused of headbutting Roy Keane is reportedly an Arsenal fan who broke his own nose in the incident at the Emirates on Sunday.
Keane, 52, and fellow Sky Sports pundit Micah Richards were involved in an altercation with a man during Arsenal's 3-1 victory against Manchester United.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident, with Keane the alleged victim. Sky Sports claim Richards, 35, was "acting to defuse a situation" in the social media video. Metropolitan Police have confirmed enquires are ongoing.
It has been reported that the man, who is said to be an Arsenal fan, broke his nose in the incident at the Emirates, while United legend Keane was left unhurt but "a bit shaken".
According to The Sun, the individual in question confronted Keane and tried to headbutt him but missed, clashing with the ex-midfielder's shoulder.
