Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite believes the point earned against Sheffield United will prove vital.
The Toffees appeared to be heading for yet another Premier League defeat this season.
However, a late goal from Abdoulaye Doucoure and a vital save from Jordan Pickford gave the Toffees a point.
He told the club's website: It was a hard-fought game. When we went 1-0 up, I think we were dominating and we just took our foot off the gas a little bit. In this league, that kills you.
We go in at half-time 2-1 down despite dominating but the gaffer said we have to keep full focus for every minute throughout the game. We came out second half and started it sharp.
