Everton cut loose Townsend, Shae Cahill

Everton are planning a squad shake up this summer in a bid to avoid more trouble next term.

The Toffees had an ultimately successful campaign, narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League.

However, most fans at Goodison Park do not want a repeat, as they hope the club can climb its way up the table next season.

Yerry Mina, Andros Townsend and Asmir Begovic are leaving the club as free agents.

The likes of Seamus Coleman, Tom Davies and Andy Lonergan could stay after being offered new contracts.
