Erik ten Hag makes bold Marcus Rashford promise but refuses to discuss Man Utd contract
Marcus Rashford can help Manchester United become the best team in the world again, according to boss Erik ten Hag.
United striker Rashford is out of contract at the end of next season and talks over a new deal have yet to begin between the club and his representatives. The England star has rediscovered his best form this season, scoring 17 goals for United in all competitions, including nine in his last nine games.
Rashford, 25, has already attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain and the rest of Europe's top clubs are monitoring his contract situation following his impressive return to form. But Ten Hag has told his star forward who will start the EFL Cup semi-final first leg at Nottingham Forest on Wednesday - he can achieve all of his ambitions at United and help the club become a major force again.
