Dejan Kulusevski tells Spurs team-mates to 'stand behind' decision to part ways with Antonio Conte
Dejan Kulusevski has urged his Tottenham team-mates to 'move on' and 'stand behind' their club's decision to part ways with former boss Antonio Conte, who left Spurs by mutual consent last week after furiously criticising his players in an explosive interview.
The Italian reached the end of his tether after Tottenham's 3-3 draw to Southampton ahead of the international break, describing his players as 'selfish' during his post-match interview at St Mary's.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy parted company with the 53-year-old manager on Sunday and has already set up talks with axed Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann in the hope of lining up an immediate replacement.
Kulusevski, who produced some of the best football of his career so far under Conte, admitted he was 'sad' to see the manager depart - but also urged that it was important to 'stand behind' the club's decision.
