The Sydney Swans have taken out the title of most widely supported AFL team once again with more than 1.3 million fans, while Collingwood have increased their supporters by 169,000 in just a year.
The Swans have topped the Annual Roy Morgan AFL supporter ladder for the 18th year in a row, ahead of Collingwood, Brisbane and West Coast.
The Swans, the only club with over a million supporters, had an increase of 209,000 supporters over the last 12 months - the largest of any AFL club.
Collingwood, who have had the largest increase of any Victorian-based club, now have 875,000 supporters - just ahead of the Brisbane Lions who have 826,000 supporters.
Taking fourth spot are West Coast Eagles with 697,000 supporters - maintaining their support this year despite finishing last in the comp.
