'Chicharito' Hernandez undergoes ACL surgery after injury against Real Salt Lake

All 'Chicharito' Hernandez fans were savoring the time in which the Mexican striker could play against Lionel Messi at a certain point in the season. But that possibility is no longer available for him due to a nasty ACL injury he suffered on June 7. It was a U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinal game against Real Salt Lake when 'Chiharito' suffered an injury that will keep him away from any soccer field for the rest of the MLS season. This is the exact same injury Brazilian Ronaldo suffered as a young player for Inter Milan. Hernandez picks this up as he attempts to stay relevant in order to possibly get another call to the Mexican National Team. But that will be delayed as well.
