Chelsea are criticised for mocking Leeds' relegation on their official Twitter account
Daily Mail Chelsea have been criticised for mocking Leeds' relegation to the Championship on their official Twitter account.
During their live coverage of the game between Leeds and Chelsea at Elland Road last August (a match which Leeds won 3-0), Chelsea tweeted 'Starting to assert ourselves!' in the 30th minute before having to mention Leeds goals from Brenden Aaronson and Rodrigo in the space of seven minutes.
That led to Leeds' official account writing: 'Life comes as you fast!'.
Chelsea certainly didn't forget that tweet as after Leeds' relegation to the Championship was confirmed on Sunday, they quoted the original tweet by saying 'It certainly does.'

However, many Twitter users were eager to point out that Chelsea were in no position to mock others given that they have endured a terrible campaign themselves.
