Former Chelsea captain John Terry says Harry Kane is “clearly not going” to win trophies at Tottenham amid Man Utd transfer rumours.
The England international has been in good form again this season for Spurs, bagging 12 goals in 15 Premier League matches and helping Antonio Conte’s side to fourth in the table.
There have been numerous rumours over the past few years that Kane could move to another club with Tottenham failing to match his ambitions.
A Spanish publication has even claimed that Man Utd – who agreed to mutually terminate Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract earlier this week – could make a move for Kane in the January transfer window, which seems like a non-starter, but Terry thinks the Tottenham striker needs to leave.
Terry told beIN Sports: “I think Harry Kane has got ambitions to go and win trophies hes clearly not going to do that at Tottenham is he? Lets be honest. Hes not, clearly. Lets be honest with ourselves.
