Carlo Ancelotti 'gone from euphoria to fear' after Real Madrid's Harry Kane U-turn
Real Madrid are ready to wait until 2024 and sign Kylian Mbappe, rather than bring in Harry Kane this summer.
Los Blancos could sign a new centre forward in the coming months following the departure of Karim Benzema. The Frenchman confirmed his exit last Sunday after 14 years at the club. Benzema was out of contract at the end of the June and has since decided to sign for Saudi Arabia side Al-Ittihad, who are managed by Nuno Espirito Santo.
Carlo Ancelotti wants sign a striker in the summer transfer window and is eyeing up a move for Tottenham hotshot Kane. The 29-year-old has scored 30 Premier League goals this season and his record is only bettered by Manchester City's Erling Haaland. Kane has one year left on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
It was reported earlier in the week that Los Blancos were plotting an audacious 100million bid for England international Kane. However, a fresh claim from Relevo has revealed that Real are unsure on whether to go for Kane this summer and instead wait to sign Paris Saint-Germain hitman Mbappe next year.
