Brighton striker Ferguson out of Republic of Ireland squad
Brighton striker Evan Ferguson has been ruled out of Republic of Ireland's Euro2024 qualifiers.
Fresh from his hat-trick against Newcastle, Ferguson will miss the games against France and the Netherlands due to injury.
The teen strained his knee during the 3-1 win on Saturday, though reported to the Ireland squad yesterday.
"Ferguson reported for international duty on Sunday but after assessment from the Ireland medical team, Ferguson has been ruled out of both fixtures," read the Football Association of Ireland's statement.
