Brentford end Manchester City's unbeaten run, but just miss out on Europe
They may have already been crowned champions, but Manchester City have ended the Premier League season with a 1-0 defeat at Brentford.
Pep Guardiola's side had gone 25 matches without tasting defeat, but did so on Matchday 38 and, even if there were many rotations, this will be a bit of a concern ahead of their FA Cup final against Manchester United and Champions League final against Inter.
As for Brentford, this was a happy way to end an impressive season, even though these three points didn't ultimately prove enough to qualify for the Conference League, given Aston Villa and Tottenham's wins elsewhere.
