Beloved baseball player fulfills bizarre life-long dream - leaving fans in stitches
Cincinnati Reds player Joey Votto has a life-long dream of driving a bus when his career is over and he has retired.
But his fans and followers were surprised to see the first baseman behind the wheel of a bus in a recent Instagram photo.
Votto posted the image last week with the caption: 'Heading down to Louisville for a few stops.'
Many worried that this meant Votto had retired from his ball career, but TheEnquirer's Charlie Goldsmith posted on Twitter that the player was working out at the Great American Baseball Park inCincinnati on Friday.
Votto's Instagram post was accompanied by a clip of his July 2018 interview with theMLB Network in which he talked about his aspirations to be a bus driver one day.
In that the interview, he revealed that he did not want to be a coach or a broadcaster, but instead he wants to serve his community as a school bus driver.
