Third baseman Scott Rolen is elected as the SOLE inductee of the 2023 Baseball HOF Class

One-time World Series champion and ex-Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays and Cincinnati Reds third baseman Scott Rolen is the latest name to enter the National Baseball Hall of Fame after receiving 76.3 percent of votes on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old featured on the Baseball Writers' Association of America's Hall of Fame Ballot for the sixth consecutive year and will be inducted in Cooperstown, New York, on July 23rd, along with former slugger Fred McGriff, who was elected to the Hall of Fame by contemporary era commitee in December.
