Arsenal legend Thierry Henry told Barcelona to appoint Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag

Arsenal legend Thierry Henry claimed he recommended Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag to Barcelona.

While the Dutchman found himself on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline against the Gunners, Uniteds improvement was still clear to see. The Red Devils showed no fear at the Emirates Stadium and were unlucky not to come away with at least a point.

However, Henry revealed his admiration for Ten Hag stems way beyond his Old Trafford appointment, as he actually tried to convince Barcelona president Joan Laporta to take a chance on him.
