Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta felt Fabio Vieira had an influence on victory over Manchester United.
Vieira was a late substitute for the 3-1 win.
Asked if Vieira is ready to start, Arteta later said, "Every player has a chance to do that.
"Today we decided to start with Kai and we knew that Fabio would have a big impact, especially in the last few minutes if we needed something.
"Something has changed with Fabio, you notice it in the way the crowd are when he steps in compared to last year. He's more mature, he's more senior within the squad and his confidence is high, so I'm more than happy to have those options."
