Ange Postecoglou makes promise to Tottenham fans in first words as new Spurs boss
New Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has pledged to leave 'no stone unturned' as he bids to turn the club into trophy contenders.
Postecoglou has taken permanent charge of the Premier League side, who ended the campaign just gone with Ryan Mason in caretaker charge. The Australian led Celtic to a domestic treble in his second season in Scotland, having won the double there last term.
He has now been charged with reversing the fortunes of Spurs, who endured a dreadful time in the season just gone. They finished outside the Champions League, Europa League and even the Europa Conference League qualification places in the table.
While Postecoglou may look on that as a small boost to his plans of implementing his ideas, it represents nothing short of a disaster for the club. But the Australian boss has now pledged to get the Premier League team back on track.
