Andy Robertson becomes latest Liverpool player to speak out on Mohamed Salah transfer
Andy Robertson has insisted there is "no concern" among Liverpool players over the future of Mohamed Salah.
Last Thursday, the club rejected a massive 150million offer from Al-Ittihad for the 'Egyptian King', but are bracing themselves for an improved bid. A Saudi delegation reportedly arrived in the UK over the weekend, with the transfer window for their Pro League clubs not closing until September 7.
But the 31-year-old seemed unperturbed as he lined up against Aston Villa at Anfield on Sunday, scoring from close range as the Reds cruised to a 3-0 win. Neither the player or his agent have publicly dismissed the prospect of a move though, leading to growing anxiety among fans.
But left-back Robertson has moved to banish the notion the speculation is unsettling for the squad. Liverpool's win on Sunday made it 10 points from 12 thus far in the Premier League, leaving them just two points off leaders Man City.
