Andy Reid raves about White House catering after Kansas City Chiefs' visit
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid has paid tribute to the White House catering staff after the 'phenomenal' food he and his team were given on their trip to meet President Biden this week.
The Super Bowl champions hit the headlines earlier in the week on their visit to Washington DC, with star men Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce taking center stage.
But the real heroes of the day, according to Reid, were the White House chefs, as he revealed exactly what the team were fed while inside the building.
'They did have some good stuff,' he said at a press conference. 'They had a I've never had this before a French toast grilled cheese and ham sandwich that they sprinkled a little bit of powdered sugar on.
I mean, it was phenomenal. There was [an] abundance of this. And then they had chicken fingers exotic chicken fingers, to boot.
