Alessandro Birindelli: Juventus points penalty is scandalous

Former Juventus midfielder Alessandro Birindelli has slammed the club's 15 points penalty.

Juve were punished for financial irregularities.

Birindelli told TuttoJuve: "It was an unequal sentence, as there were many more clubs involved. Juventus couldn't make the capital gains on their own, there is always another party. I don't understand this total fury towards a club.

"If the successes are deserved, I don't see what the annoyance is. This has always been a forward-looking club and one step ahead of the others, I don't see why it should be penalised for the work done.
