Ajax collapsing after Ten Hag departure for Man Utd

The departure of Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag from Ajax has had a catastrophic impact on his former club.

The Dutch giants are struggling to defend their Eredivisie title from last season, which they won comfortably under ten Hag's guidance.

Losing ten Hag and several key players in the summer, including Lisandro Martinez and Antony to United, has hit them hard.

Ten Hag's former assistant Alfred Schreuder is struggling in the job, as Ajax are now six games without a league win.

Schrueder is now fighting to save his job, while Ajax know they must start winning to save their season.
