EastGroup Properties Inc. on June 8 was unanimously approved for a Chapter 380 economic development agreement to aid with what it's calling the "Texas Ave" project in the city north of Austin. The company is on the hook to demolish the property by March of next year and complete the replacement by the end of 2026.
