Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers: First time in 14 years that neither will play in AFC or NFC Championship
For the first time since 2009, the AFC and NFC Championship games will not feature Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers in one of them, as the four remaining quarterbacks in the playoffs are under 27 years old.
Rodgers failed to reach the postseason due to their loss against the Detroit Lions in the final game of the regular season and Brady was eliminated after just one game in the postseason.
Both quarterbacks have declared that they'll take some time during the offseason to see if they want to continue playing in the NFL for the upcoming season.
